The axial non-
uniformity. Axial non-
uniformity is a
measure of the
difference in spacing
of grid cells along
each axis. In the best
case, this value will
be zero, indicating
that centers of the grid
cells are evenly
spaced in all
directions. A poor
axial non-uniformity
might indicate
problems in the
printing process for
the code, which
causes the code to
appear stretched out
or compressed.
