• Pour the powdered food through the screen and into the hopper until full.
• Now remove the rod and tap the feeder on the table. The spring and push plate will raise the food up
to the screen and fill any free space.
Place the filled feeder assembly onto the pad of the mass scale. Repeat the above procedure for all feeder
assemblies.
4.4.3 Disassembling the Feeder Assembly
A specially fabricated wrench is included for the disassembly of the feeder assembly. The wrench applies equal
pressure to all the locking tabs to minimize stress and ensure the longevity of the hopper.
• Holding the feeder assembly topside down, place the wrench over the locking tabs of the hopper.
• While holding the bowl of the feeder assembly, turn the wrench clockwise to separate the two halves
of the feeder assembly.
