Cannot record any
sound. The
microphone does
not work.
The microphone has
no volume because
the Mute Volume
option is enabled
under the Microsoft
Volume Control
applet.
Launch the Microsoft
Volume Control applet.
Select Options
Properties. Under Show
the Following Volume
Controls, select
Microphone
OK. Under
the Microphone control,
disable the Mute option
by clicking on Mute so
that the box beside it is
no longer checked.
