Solving DVD Problems Continued
Problem Possible Cause Solution
A DVD disk inserted
in the DVD drive will
not play
The on-screen
navigation buttons
are misaligned with
the actual “hot spots”
for selecting these
buttons.
Use the
up/down/left/right/enter
buttons in the Navigator
Control to make
selections in this title.
Often using these
buttons will move a
“highlight” around, which
can help locate the hot
spots on Root Menus so
the mouse can be used
in the future.
If a title still does not
work, try a different title.
When playing a
DVD, you get an
“invalid/illegal
region code”
message
The DVD does not
match the region
code for your player.
Set the correct region
code for your region.
If you have already
selected a region code
permanently, you will be
unable to change it.
