- Three different shutdown states are available:
- Power-on shutdown (POS) (Three system reset options are
provided.)
- RAM shutdown (STR)
- Disk shutdown (STD) or software OFF (Soff)
- Long duration standby timer used as a restart timer to monitor the
overall idle state of the system
(Continues to operate during shutdown)
- Power button input
- An override function that changes immediately to the software
OFF mode.
- Shadow registers for the standard AT write-only registers are used
to save and restore the system state
- "Resume Well" function monitors for wakeup events during
shutdown
- Power-on restart and reset procedures
