The height adjustable ip-up armrests provide added support and positioning. Armrests “ip-up” out of
the way for easy access into the chair, and adjust in height for added comfort. To attach or adjust the
height of the armrests, remove the two screws from each bracket, adjust bracket to the desired height,
and reinsert the screws. Fig. 143 & 144

The side panels are designed to keep the occupant’s arms inside the chair and to provide added
security. The side panels are attached to the chair with 1 screw at the top and 2 Velcro
®
straps at the
bottom.
The side panels will adjust to accommodate varying degrees of recline. To adjust, loosen the Velcro
®
strap on the front/outside of the panel, recline the chair to desired position and retighten the Velcro
®
strap. Fig. 145
Side panels are available in solid or mesh fabric. The mesh fabric allows for increased ventilation.
