OPERATOR’SDRIVINGTECHNIQUE(DRIVINGONTHEFIELD)
The quality of spreading depends greatly on the operator’s driving technique.
s Near the headlands and during the manoeuvres, stop the spreading and disengage the power take-off (PTO). In order to avoid
spreading fertilizer outside the edges of the field, switch spreading back on again only after approaching the end of the field at
a distance equal to the maximum rear spreading length.
s
Grains of fertilizer are very lightweight and their trajectory of movement varies with the amount of wind. For this reason, stop
spreading when wind speed is too high, otherwise the distribution of the fertilizer spread over the soil will be irregular.
