Drivingonprivateandpublicroads.
For road transportthe fertilizer spreadermust be connected to the tractor as described in this
manual.Incorrecthitchingmayaffectthevehicle’sstabilitywhenbraking.Moreover,observethe
trafficrulesinforceinthecountryinquestion.Beforedriving,allmovingpartsmust
bechecked
andsecuredinthecorrectposition,themachinemustbeclean,correctlyservicedandinperfect
workingcondition,andalllightsmustbeworking(headlights,indicators,brakelights...).
DANGER!
Speed.
Themachine must be driven at speed that is suitablefor the conditionsofthe terrain (flat and
solid ground), with the load always visible. Avoid sudden acceleration and braking, and tight
cornering at high speed.The machine or the tractor may roll over,and movement of the
load
‐ consistingof the machine and any materials tobe spread‐must not be underestimated. The
maximum speed allowed in optimum conditions is 40 km/h. Never exceed 5 km/h in reverse. Fatal
accidents may occur when travelling as a result of failing to observe the rules or even simple
distraction.

Transportingthemachine

When driving on public roads, always obey national traffic laws.
s
Before moving the machine,check
that the power supply lines are connected correctly
thatthelightsarenotdamaged,areworkingandareclean
thattherearenovisibledefectsinthebrakingandhydraulicsystem
thattheparkingbrakeiscompletelydisengaged
thatthebrakesareworking
s
Alwaysverifythatthetractorhassufficientsteeringandbrakingcapacity.
s
Machinestowedandbrakedbythetractor,andfrontandrearballastallaffectroadbehaviourandthetractor’ssteeringand
brakingcapacity.
s
Thetractor’sfrontaxlemustalwayssupportatleast20%ofthetractor’semptyweighttoensuresufficientsteeringcapacity.
s
Always apply front or rear ballast to the points of attachment provided,following the instructions.
s
Observetheuseful load of the machine carried or towedby the tractor,and the tractor’s admissible axial load and carrying
capacity.
s
The tractor must ensure thedeceleration required for thetowedsystem (tractor plus machine).
s
Checkthebrakesbeforesettingoff.
s
When cornering with the machine carried or towed, always kee p in mind the ample swing and centrifugal mass of the machine.
s
Before moving the machine,check that the bottom connecting bars on the tractor are suitably blocked from moving sideways if
themachineiscoupledtothethreepointhitchhydraulicsystemortothebottomconnectingbarsonthetractor.
s
Before moving the machine,move all the tipping parts of the machine into the position for transport.
s
Before moving the machine,fasten all the tipping parts of the machine in the position for transport,to avoid danegours shifts in
position.Forthispurpose,usethetransportsafteydevicesprovided.
s
Before moving the machine,block the control lever on the threepoint hitchhydraulicsystem to prevent thetowedmachine from
beingaccidentallyliftedorlowered.
