drive shaftneedsto be cut:the tubes must be cut
sothattheydonotcollidewhenintheshortest
position.

Connectthemachinetothetractor’sthree‐point
hitch.
s
Switchoffthetractor’sengineandremovethe
keysfromtheignition.
s
Liftthemachinesothat the powertake‐off shaft is
the same height as the tractor’s PTO, and both are
neareachotherinthatposition.
s
Removethetwosectionsofthedriveshaftandconnectonehalftothetractor’sPTOandtheotherhalftothe
machine’sshaft,withthelockingpinsinthelockedposition.

DANGER!
Dangerofcrushingandcollisionduetoinsufficientspacewhenconnectingthedriveshaft!
Firstconnectthedriveshafttothetractorandonlythenconnectthemachinetothetractor.Thiswillcreate
enoughspacetoguaranteesafeconnectionofthedriveshaft.

SHORTENINGTHEDRIVESHAFTTOTHECORRECTLENGTH
Ifthedrive shaft istoo long,this may collide with andcausedamage tothe PTO (onthe machine ortractor) whenthe machine,
connectedto thethree‐pointhitch, is lifted. Ifthe driveshaft istoo long, it needs tobeshortened: both halves must becutto thesame
extent.
