Thebasichopperhasacapacityof1,500litres,whichcanbe in‐
creased to 3,200 litres by simply fitting the high sides,at any time.
Insidethehopper,near theopenings,aretwo special ultra‐slow
rotating mixers, which op timise product feed to the discs and pre‐
ventthefertilizerfrombeingpulverised.
Themixerdeliverstheproducttothe
spreader disc s,fromwhereit
isreleasedbythedistributorbladesduetocentrifugalforce.
Openingandclosingoftheshuttersiscontrolledbyhydraulicpi‐
stons: both outlets can be controlled together, or alternatively the
right or left outlet alone,for spreading across half the width.
The quantity spread depends on spreader disc rotation speed,
spreadradius,and fertilizerqualityand moisture content.
Thequantityoffertilizerismeteredmanuallyusing
adjustableshutters,ormanagedbyanelectronic
controller(programmableelectronicconsole
- OPTIONAL
),
whichguarantees maximum
precis ion
even
when
using
super‐concentrated products.
The
CX
fertilizer spreaders can be used for normal spreading,
late spreading(essential whenneeding to fertilize wherethe crops
areveryhigh)andboundaryspreading.
Thespreadingchartssuppliedwiththemachineallowtheopera‐
tor to adjust working width and product flow‐rate so as to achi eve
spreadwidthsupto36m.
