Procedure
1. Log into CSSM.
2. Click on the Node Control tab.
3. Stop the Lustre file system.
4. Power off the nodes.
a. Select all nodes to power off.
b. Select Shutdown from the Selected Nodes drop-down menu.
5. After all of the nodes are shut down, physically power off the enclosures -- turn off the power switches (at the
back of the rack).
● The power switches for the 2U24s are on the power and cooling modules (PCMs).
● The power switches for the 5U84 SSUs and ESUs are on the power supplies (PSUs).
16.3 Internal Rack Cabling Reference
Standardized internal rack cabling is determined at the factory using the SCD. The SCD lists all of the internal
cable connections for the system and includes cable label information and each cables source and designation
device.
Labels denote: <U position> <device> <Port>.
