The additional optional MMU occupies the same position in the rack as the upper SMU component in the base
rack, immediately below the 4 Network switches.
The figure below illustrates how the additional optional MMU is cabled to the management and network switches.

ClusterStor L300 and L300N uses two distinct types of embedded application controllers (EACs): one type used
only for the system management unit (SMU) node, and another type is used for metadata management units
(MMUs) and scalable storage units (SSUs).
