3.10. General I/O
General inputs and outputs combine the analog input 0 - 5 V and the digital output. For better
understanding on the picture below you can see the diagram of IO connection.

Input/output
The analog input is equipped with 8 bit A/D converter for input voltage levels between 0 and 5 V. In
case that a potential free contact or resistive sensor is connected it is possible to switch ON the
internal pull-up to define voltage levels. It will supply output with max. current approx. 5 mA when
shorted to the ground.
The output switching function is provided by open collector circuit. It enables to switch max. 30 VDC,
max. current is 80 mA to ground.
The general inputs and outputs are marked IO 1 - IO 8.
