5. Setup by Optional Switch
An optional switch OSW is implemented both in the Assistant and in the Assistant-S. It is situated on
the rear side and it is accessible from outside.
Factory default is all switches off.
The meaning of OSW is dependent on the version of firmware which is currently installed!
For firmware versions V3.00 and higher the meaning is as follows.

SW 8 ON: SIRC check
In the SIRC check mode you can check SIRCS types of IR codes when irCUE receiver is connected.
In this case the control unit sends the information about the IR code via HOST connector with setting:
19200 Baud, 8 bits, even parity, 1 stop bit. A PC with running Hyper Terminal connected to the
Assistant or Assistant-S can display this information.
