8. ALWAYS Back-Up Setting
The ALWAYS jumper setting is a new setting for stage relays introduced in the EV4000. If the Backup
controller calls for any of the four Backup Modes (COOL 1, COOL 2, COOL 3, or HEAT), each of the
EV4000 stages set to ALWAYS will turn ON when any Backup Mode is ON. Therefore, this is a good
setting for light, feed, or even fans that you would like to turn on in case of a failure. Operation of these
outputs could be controlled using the breaker box.
