1. It is strictly forbidden to approach the reaping
unit.
2. The engine must be shut off prior to maintenance,
cleaning or troubleshooting of the reaping unit.
3. Never put in your hand or foot as the cutter in
running may cut off your hand or foot.

The reaping unit may suddenly drop to
cause injuries when it is lifted for The fol-
lowing 3 points must be followed:
1. The lowering/raising cylinder position
-
ing device of the reaping unit must be
locked out.
2. The lowering/raising lever of the reaping
unit must be locked out.
3. Use hard object such as wooden block
to support the reaping unit.
The method for using secur-
ing device:
1. Raise the reaping unit to
the highest position.
2. Take off the cotter pin at
lo ca tion A an d p ut the
secur ing device at the
locking position.
3. Take off the cotter pin at
location A and insert it into
location B. Please follow
the reverse sequence for
removing th e se curi ng
device.
It must be folded when trans-
ported on the road, otherwise
incident may occur.
1. Hand contact with the rotating
banding wheel inside will result
in injuries. Never put hands in
-
side to install the cover.
2. Shut off the engine during main
-
tenance and adjustment.
3. Install the cover after mainte
-
nance or adjustment is com-
pleted.
4. Operate the machine only when
all covers are in place.
Under this cover, there is a spinning
part that can cause serious injuries.
Do not put your hand under this cover
when operating the combine. Before
performing any inspection, adjustment
or cleanup, shut off the engine rst.
