vertical guidance
PIT
Indicates the loss of vertical integrity signal during LPV or LNAV/VNAV.
This may be indicated by an annunciation change on the HSI.
Symptoms :
- AP mode from GP flashing 5 seconds to PIT ,
- VDI is flagged and indicates NO GP.
► Fly the airplane ◄
Actions
If automatic downgrade to LNAV :
1 - Update minimums as appropriate.
If not :
►Perform a go-around◄
End of procedure.
