3.6.5 GRE
The GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) protocol encapsulates data packets of certain
network layer protocols (such as IP and IPX) so that these encapsulated data packets can be
transmitted in another network layer protocol (such as IP).
GRE uses tunnel technology, which is a Layer 3 tunneling protocol for VPN (Virtual Private
Network).
Log in to the web interface of the Router. Step 1
In the left navigation menu, select VPN > GRE. Step 2
In GRE Tunnel section, enable GRE tunnel, and then set parameters. Step 3
