▪ Service space requirements. See the "Technical data"
chapter.
▪ Refrigerant piping requirements (length, height
difference).Seefurtherinthis"Preparation"chapter.
Mindthefollowing:
▪ Selectaplacewhereraincanbeavoidedasmuchaspossible.
▪ Take care that in the event of a water leak, water cannot cause
anydamagetotheinstallationspaceandsurroundings.

areaswherechildrenplay).
DoNOTinstalltheunitinthefollowingplaces:
▪ Soundsensitiveareas(e.g.nearabedroomandthelike),sothat

Note: If the sound is measured under actual installation
conditions, the measured value might be higher than the sound

INFORMATION
Thesoundpressurelevelislessthan70dB(A).
▪ In places where a mineral oil mist, spray or vapour may be

ofsalt.Corrosionmayoccur,
▪ wherethevoltagefluctuatesalot,
▪ invehiclesorvessels,
▪ whereacidicoralkalinevapourispresent.
When the outdoor unit is subject to windy and/or low ambient
temperatures,mindthefollowingguidelines:
Strongwinds(≥18km/h)blowingagainsttheoutdoorunit’sairoutlet
causesshortcircuit(suctionofdischargeair).Thismayresultin:
▪ deteriorationoftheoperationalcapacity;
▪ frequentfrostaccelerationinheatingoperation;
▪ disruption of operation due to decrease of low pressure or
increaseofhighpressure;
▪ a broken fan (if a strong wind blows continuously on the fan, it
maystartrotatingveryfast,untilitbreaks).
It is recommended to install a baffle plate when the air outlet is
exposedtowind.
