3.2 Wireless Remote Controller
If unit stops due to an error, the operation indicating LED on the signal receiving part of indoor unit
blinks.
The error code can be determined by following the procedure described below. (The error code is
displayed when an operation error has occurred. In normal condition, the error code of the last
problem is displayed.)
1. Press INSPECTION/TEST button to enter inspection mode. Then the figure 0 blinks on the unit
number display.
2. Press UP button or DOWN button and change the unit number until the receiver of the remote
controller starts to beep.
3 short beeps : Follow all steps below.
1 short beep : Follow steps 3 and 4. Continue the operation in step 4 until you hear a
continuous beep. This continuous beep indicates that the error code is confirmed.
Continuous beep : There is no abnormality.
3. Press MODE button. The left 0 (upper digit) indication of the error code blinks.
4. Press UP button or DOWN button to change the error code upper digit until the receiver of the
indoor unit starts to beep.
The upper digit of the code changes as shown below.
Continuous beep : Both upper and lower digits match. (Error code is confirmed.)
2 short beeps : The upper digit matches but the lower digit does not.
1 short beep : The upper digit does not match.
5. Press MODE button. The right 0 (lower digit) indication of the error code blinks.
6. Press UP button or DOWN button and change the error code lower digit until the receiver of the
indoor unit generates a continuous beep.
