Use the ‘ ’ or ‘ ’ keys to cycle through the dialout numbers and complete the
elds for each device as described below:
Use this eld to specify the type of device which is connected to the specied
telephone number. The options are as follows:
NO DIAL Inhibits the output.
GSM SMS Indicates that a RS232/GSM modem device is connected.
Sends text messages to a GSM mobile phone and
receives messages. For information on this feature refer to
    document Functional Description RC.8A.M.
DOWNLOAD Indicates that a computer is connected (directly or
remotely). Sends the alarm message using Woodley
Xmodem Alarm protocol. If the line is busy, the
telephone number will be dialled up to four times (8 bit,
    No Parity, 1 Stop Bit).
AKM    Same as above, except that dialout attempts will continue;
after every 10 attempts will reset the alarm relay.
Note: Modem must be wired in conjunction with the alarm
    relay (refer to appendix A).

BEEPER Indicates that a beeper type pager is connected. The
system dials the appropriate telephone number and
then disconnects. As there is no security associated
with this option, the telephone number is always dialled
twice unless the busy tone is received.

MESSAGE7 Indicates that a 7 bit modem is connected with a printer
attached. (7 bit, Even Parity, 1 Stop Bit) (normally used in France).

MESSAGE8 Indicates that an 8 bit modem is connected with a printer
attached. (8 bit, No Parity, 1 Stop Bit) (normally used in UK).

PAGER7S Indicates that a TAP 7 bit protocol pager is connected
which can display a message. The message sent is
dened on the Pager Info line (7 bit, Even Parity, 1 Stop Bit).
PAGER7M Identical to PAGER7S but sends message up to 4 times.
PAGER8S Indicates that a TAP 8 bit protocol pager is
connected which can display a message. The message
sent is dened on the Pager Info line (8 bit, No Parity, 1 Stop Bit).
PAGER8M Identical to PAGER8S but sends message multiple times.
Enter the appropriate telephone numbers for each of the devices used. If a
comma ‘,’ is inserted before the number, a delay of between 2 and 4 seconds
will be inserted between the modem picking up the line and dialling. If a ‘w’ is
inserted before the number, the modem will wait for the secondary tone before
dialling.
For a message to be sent to a pager, two items of information must be supplied
in addition to the Tap Pager server telephone number.
1. The pager I/D, this is normally marked on the pager.
2. The text message to be sent to the pager.
