8.3 SASAIID SENSOR
Similar to the speed sensor, the PVED-CLS’s relies on a safe steering wheel feedback from the SASAIID sensor (not used
in EHi-H system, refer section 7.1.4). The SASAIID sensor is designed to send a redundant CAN-message containing
both steering wheel position and steering wheel velocity. The PVED-CLS performs cross checks on both the steering
wheel position and the steering wheel velocity.
