11.7 OPEN LOOP SOFT STOP
The soft-stop function applies to all Open Loop configurations and limits the allowed maximum flow delivered to the
steering cylinders in proportion to the relative wheel angle and is mirrored to both sides (left- and right-end stop). The
function’s control algorithm will implement a linear interpolation between two points, Point A and Point B.
• Point A (1000-P3710, 1000)
• Point B (1000-P3712, P3708)

The range is from 100 to 1000 [IR] for P3708 (i.e. relative soft-stop flow limit).
The range is from 0 to 1000 [IR] for P3710 and P3712 (i.e. relative wheel angle).
The Danfoss recommended values are P3708 set to 200, and P3710 and P3712 set to 0. Soft stop functionality is
disabled with default values.
Important
For wheel angles lower than the one specified at Point A, maximum flow is available.
