GRYPHON™ I GD/GBT/GM4500
Many stand alone connections can operate in the same physical area without interfer-
ence, provided all readers and base stations in the system have different addresses.
USING THE GBT/GM4500 READER
Reader LEDs
Specific LEDs on the Gryphon reader provide information about: good reading result
(3GL), battery status. The Battery Status information can be easily retrieved by double-
tapping with your fingers on top of the head of the reader. The following table explains
the main color combinations provided by the Battery Status LED.

Amber blinking
(1s ON - 1s OFF)

Red blinking
(1s ON - 1s OFF)
Charge less than 1%
NOTE: Reader is unusable until 1% is reached
Solid Green
Charge 100%
NOTE: It goes OFF when the reader is unplugged
Battery Status (when not in charge)
Green (3s time-out)
50% - 100%
Amber (3s time-out)
2% - 50%
Red (3s time-out)
Charge less than 2%
