Linking to a Base Station
The RIDA DBT6400 can be used paired with its Base Sta-
tion. The data received over the RF link will be exchanged
with theHost using the USB interface of the Base Station.
In this case, before configuring the interface, it is neces-
sary to link the scanner to the Base Station.
To link the handheld and the base, press the Scan button
to wake up the reader and then insert the reader into the
Base station. A beep will indicate the successful pairing.
If the reader was previously linked to another base, you
must first scan the Unlink bar code before re-linking to
the new base.
