BITE System
The PRC1099A BITE system is designed to identify a faulty board. When a
fault occurs, BITE fault messages are displayed on the front panel indicating
the specific board affected. The BITE runs automatically on power up and can
be run anytime by selecting BITE TST from the OPT menu (refer to "Standard
Option Menu" on page 4-4).
Report any displayed fault message to technical personnel. Only experienced
technicians should access and replace boards.
