referred to one of our Service Providers.
The customer is responsible for paying for shipping to the Service
Provider. On warranty items Decatur Electronics will pay return
shipping (ground freight) from the Service Provider to the customer.
Please note that will be an additional charge for shipping express or
next day air.
If you are referred to a Service Provider and your product is under
warranty then once your product has been received, the Service
Provider will investigate the problem. Once they have diagnosed the
problem, they will repair the product and return it to you.
If you are referred to a Service Provider and your unit is not under
warranty, then we recommend that you discuss the problem you
are experiencing with the Service Provider and determine if an
estimate is needed. Once your product has been received, the
Service Provider will investigate the problem and you will be sent an
estimate of
cost, prior to any repair work being performed. After receiving the
estimate, you can choose from the following options:
1. Approve the estimate and proceed with repair.
2. Decline the estimate and pay an estimate fee and return
shipping.
3. Discuss other options with the Service Provider. If your product is
under warranty it will automatically be repaired and sent back to
you.
