Install the cooling fan
The procedure for installing standard and high performance fans is identical.
Procedure
1. Holding the release tab, align the connector at the base of the cooling fan with the
connector on the system board.

Verifying successful fan replacement from the ACM
After a fan is replaced, you can run the FRU command line verification from the ACM to ensure
that the replacement was successful.
Procedure
1. From the ACM, type the following command: # showfru fan
