Installing the battery backup unit
Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety Instructions.
2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your sled.
3 Install the BBU into the BBU cage.
4 Install the drive cage.
5 Install the backplane.
Steps
1 Route the cable on the battery backup unit (BBU) through the front end of the drive cage.
2 Align and slide the BBU until it rmly locks in place with the drive cage.
