CHAPTER 10: ACTIVE-VENTING ASSEMBLY
Replacing the Active-Venting Assembly
Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page 1. 6.
Replace the active-venting assembly on the chassis.2.
Replace the six screws (three on each side) that secure the active-venting 3.
assembly to the chassis.
Replace the active-venting panels.4.
Replace the six screws (three on each side) that secure the active-venting 5.
panels to the active-venting assembly.
Connect the active-venting cables to the connectors on the master 6.
I/O board.
Replace the right side-panel (see “Replacing the Right Side-Panel” on 7.
page 16).
Replace the left side-panel (see “Replacing the Left Side-Panel” on page 8. 15).
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure
that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may
result in damage to the computer.
Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and then turn 9.
