Replacing the Media Card Reader
Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page 1. 6.
Remove the new Media Card Reader from its packaging. 2.
Save the original packaging for storing or shipping the Media Card Reader.
Remove the FlexBay ller, if applicable: 3.
Pull the securing tab on the FlexBay bracket and slide the FlexBay ller out
through the front of the computer.
Pull the securing tab on the FlexBay bracket and slide the Media Card 4.
Reader into the FlexBay, until the securing tab snaps into place.
Connect the FlexBay cable to the Media Card Reader.5.
Close the left side-panel.6.
Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and then turn 7.
them on.
