Procedure
1. On the SDS, perform one of the following, depending on the Operating System:
Operating

Task
Linux Run the script: /opt/emc/scaleio/sds/bin/
close_firewall_port.sh
Windows From command line, run the batch file C:\Program Files
\EMC\scaleio\sds\bin\close_firewall_port.bat
2. Open the following SDS file with a text editor, and change the port number
shown there to the new port number:
Operating System File name
Linux
/opt/emc/scaleio/sds/bin/port
Windows
C:\Program Files\EMC\scaleio\sds\bin\port
3. Open the following SDS configuration file with a text editor:
Operating System File name
Linux
/opt/emc/scaleio/sds/cfg/conf.txt
Windows
C:\Program Files\EMC\scaleio\sds\cfg
\conf.txt
4. Add the parameter tgt_port = <NEW_PORT_NUM> to the file, where
<NEW_PORT_NUM> represents the new port number.
5. Perform one of the following:
Operating
System
Task
Linux Run the script: /opt/emc/scaleio/sds/bin/
open_firewall_port.sh
Windows From command line, run the batch file C:\Program Files
\EMC\scaleio\sds\bin\open_firewall_port.bat
6. On the SDS, perform one of the following:

Task
Linux Run the command:
Pkill sds
Windows From command line, run the command:
net stop sds_service & net start sds_service
