The minimum system size is three nodes. The hardware consists of single nodes with
various configurations of SAS HDD, SSD, and NVMe SSD devices. Some of the
configurations include hardware read and write-back caching ability, running on a
dedicated SSD.
VxFlex Ready Node gives administrators a fully-converged solution that is easy to
deploy, configure, and upgrade.
System requirements
This section lists the requirements for system components.
This section is specific to VxFlex OS software deployments.
For VxFlex Ready Node systems, refer to your product's Hardware Configuration and
Operating System Installation Guide.
Server requirements

Note: AMS installed on a VM hosted on ESXi servers must
use the vmxnet3 vmnic. Use of the e1000 vmnic is not
supported, and causes network failure.

Windows 2012 R2, 2016. Server Core editions are not
supported.
Note: You must install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010
Redistributable Package (x64). This package should be
part of the operating system image.
