NOTE: The commands should be entered in the order from the previous flowchart. The
running-config which is partially displayed in this figure shows were the entries occur but
not the proper order.
NOTE: The commands are in a different order for a multiple-link (port-channel/LAG)
configuration. If the ports to be added to the port-channel have current settings
configured including “portmode hybrid” and “switchport” these settings will need to be
removed. If they are not removed the configuration settings will not be successful.
