Removing the M.2 2280 solid-state drive
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the microSD-card.
3. Enter the service mode.
4. Remove the base cover.
About this task

Steps
1. Open the solid-state drive mylar sheet that covers the solid-state drive.
NOTE:
There is a protective mylar sheet covering the solid-state drive. This mylar sheet must be opened in order to
proceed with the removal procedure.
2. Remove the single screw (M2x3) that secures the solid-state drive to the system board.
3. Slide and remove the solid-state drive from the M.2 card connector on the system board.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
