Removing the heat sink
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the:
a stand
b back cover
c system board shield
3 To remove the heat sink:
a Remove the screws that secure the heat sink to the chassis [1, 2].
b Lift the heat sink away from the computer [3].
Installing the heat sink
1 Align and place the heat sink in the slot.
2 Tighten the screws to secure the heat sink to the computer.
3 Install the:
a system board shield
b back cover
c stand
4 Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
