Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Remove the heat-sink assembly.

Steps
1. Remove the (M2x3) screw that secures power-adapter cable bracket.
2. Remove the power-adapter cable bracket from the computer.
3. Lift the power-adapter port from its slot on the palmrest.
4. Slide the power-adapter cable towards the rear side of the computer to remove the cable from the computer.
