Step3: Results
z Initial: Initial value of the symbol. The value will be written into PLC with the program.
z Comment: The information or explanations of the symbol.
Initial Setting of Symbols
After data type is specified, click the column “Initial” in symbol table to configure the initial setting for symbols. If the
symbol does not need to be initialized, clear the content in the column.
1. When the data type of symbol is specified as BOOL, the initial setting has to be TRUE or FALSE.
2. When the data type of symbol is specified as WORD or DWORD, a prefix K or H respectively indicating
decimal or hex value can be added in front of the initial value, e.g. K100, H2000.
3. When the data type of symbol is specified as Array, click Initial and the Array Initial Values window will pop
up. Specify initial values in the positions of Array then click OK, the initial values of array will be created.
Results
4. The format of Initial value:
z The value should be placed between brackets.
