(1) Confi rm the power on/off switch of the AV receiver/amplifi er is turning off.
(2) Connect the RS-232C cable from PC with the AV receiver/amplifi er.
3. Turn on the AV receiver/amplifi er
Operate the following. Turn on the AV receiver.
(1) Connect the power cable to the AC outlet while simultaneously pushing the "SURROUND MODE
0
" button and the
"RETURN" button of the front panel.
(2) Confi rm the power indicator is green and “WRITTING” is displayed in the front panel.
4. Run the DFW
Run the “DFW_0042_AVR2311_AVR891_(Rev.1.0.6).exe” on desktop of PC.
5. Communication check
(1) Click the “Check Comm.” button.
(2) When connection is good, then you can see the “Communication check OK.” message.
