When the results of check item (38) are "the communication results are not OK"
Check item(39). Check of power supply voltage of
HDMI Tx :
Does the power supply voltage of the HDMI Tx
(U1001) indicate the correct voltage (1.1V)?
The test points are as follows.
U1001

Check item(41). Checking the reset waveform :
When the power is turned on, is the "RESET" waveform correct (as
shown in the gure)?
The test points are as follows.
U1001

Check item(40). Check the power supply voltage.

Check the power components (U1064) and the
pattern on the substrate.
If there is no problem, remove the HDMI Tx
(U1001) from the substrate and measure the volt-
age at the test point of check item (39).
Is the power supply voltage correct (1.1V)?
Check the power supply voltage. (HDMI Tx)
Checking device. (HDMI Tx)
HDMI Tx (U1001) is faulty.
Replace with a new device.
Recheck from check item (5).
If it does not work, replace the PCB.
Recheck from check item (5).
If it does not work, replace the PCB.
Replace (R1974/R1975) with new resistors and
check the I2C communication again.
Check item (38) If the result is not OK, the HDMI
Tx (U1001) is faulty.
Replace with a new device.
Check the reset circuit between CPU (U1018) and
HDMI Tx (U1001).
If there is no problem, the HDMI Tx (U1001) is
faulty.
Replace with a new device.
The power supply circuit is faulty.
Replace the PCB.
