Charging with the communication unit (CU-801, CU-811 and CU-821)
or battery charger (CH-851 and CH-854)
1. Slide the battery cover lock (1) in the direction
indicated by the arrow and remove the battery
cover (2).
2. Insert a new battery cartridge in the direction
indicated by the arrow. Make sure that the battery
cartridge is in the right orientation.

− Point − Do not use battery cartridges other than
those specified by DENSO WAVE.
3. Insert the battery cover tab (1), and then close the
battery cover (2). The battery cover is now locked
in position.
4. Connect the dedicated AC adapter to the DC input connector on the charger and plug the
adapter into the wall socket.
The charger Power LED (green) turns ON.
