If using a smart watch, make sure your smart device is
connected to your smart watch. Putting your smart device
in Airplane Mode will turn off your Bluetooth and disable
the ability to see sensor glucose information on the watch.
For smart watch users, Bluetooth and Wi- must be
enabled on both the smart device and smart watch and
the watch must be charged and on.
Risks
Dexcom Share is a feature of the Dexcom G4 PLATINUM
Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. The main
risks involved with using Dexcom Share are based on
misunderstanding its purpose.
Remember that Dexcom Share2 is a secondary
notication system, not a real-time remote monitoring
system. With Dexcom Share, there are 3 distinct parts of
glucose monitoring:
1. Blood glucose meter - use this to make any
treatment decisions.
