ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS – SOLID BACK CLADDING
Note: There are two forms of solid back cladding, either using half width sheets (as shown
above), or using a number of full width sheets within the height. Both use the same
method of cladding clip to fix the cladding to the uprights. The clips pass through the
punched rectangular hooks along the edges of the cladding sheet.
Half width sheets.
A. Lay the two half width cladding sheets on a flat surface, overlapping each other so that
the oval flanged holes in one sheet correspond with the plain oval holes in the other
sheet.
B. Secure the two sheets together with 4 swage connections, one at either end and the
remainder evenly spaced between. Ensure the swage tool first passes through the
swage oval hole and then the plain hole, otherwise the connection can not be made.
C. Clip the combined cladding sheet to the uprights as shown above, using 6 clips for the
1000mm high panel, and 8 clips for the 1600 and 2100mm high panels.
Full width sheets.
D. Use 6 clips for each 800, 1000, 1200, and 1300mm sheet.
E. Check and ensure all connections are secure.
