6.3 Design and Function
The SM-200 TE grinding and honing machine consists of a grind-
ing angle device [18], a grinding wheel [6], a wet grinding belt [8],
a polishing wheel [17] and a cooling water unit [11]. The electric
motor in the housing of the machine powers all the abrasives at the
same time via the gears, V-belt and spindle.
A buckle-resistant stainless steel frame accommodates the individ-
ual components of the SM-200 TE grinding and honing machine.
