Switching the sound off
➤ Press the ON/OFF/VOLUME knob(fig. 2 3, page 3) briefly to switch the
sound of the device to mute.
or
➤ Press the MUTE button (fig. 4 27, page 4) on the remote control to switch the
sound of the device to mute.
✓ The MUTE message appears on the display.
➤ Briefly press the ON/OFF/VOLUME knob (fig. 2 3, page 3) once to switch
the sound on again.
or
➤ Press the MUTE button(fig. 4 27, page 4) again on the remote control to
switch the sound on.
Setting the brightness of the display
➤ Press the BRIGHTNESS button (fig. 2 4, page 3) to open the “Brightness”
menu.
➤ Turn the ON/OFF/VOLUME knob (fig. 2 3, page 3) to set the brightness of
the display.
➤ Press the BRIGHTNESS button (fig. 2 4, page 3) to save the brightness and to
exit the menu for setting the brightness.
