Setting alternative frequencies
The alternative frequency function (AF) (alternative frequencies) enables the
receiving frequency to be changed when the reception area for the radio station is
left.
➤ Set AF to ON or OFF.
Setting programme type
Programme Type (PTY) denotes the classification of radio stations by type. This
information always depends on the region, the broadcasting company and the radio
stations.
➤ Press PTY.
✓ The list of types is displayed.
➤ Press on the type desired to start an automatic search for stations matching this
type.
✓ The search result will be displayed.
11 Using Bluetooth devices

Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology suitable for short distances. If
your mobile phone is equipped with Bluetooth, it can be used via the moniceiver
once a connection between the two devices has been created.
You are able to link up to five mobile telephones and audio/video devices to the
monceiver via the Bluetooth connection. When you link mobile telephones to the
monceiver you can make calls with the integrated hand-free function. You can access
both lists of numbers dialled, as well as the phone book on the linked phone.
The moniceiver can be set so that the phone and monceiver automatically connect
as soon as the mobile phone comes within range of the monceiver. (approx. 5 m).
NOTE
• Not all Bluetooth devices are compatible with the moniceiver.
• Obstructions between the Bluetooth device and the moniceiver can
reduce the range and the quality of the Bluetooth connection.
• Follow the instructions for your mobile phone.
