9.2 Inserting and ejecting a disc
Inserting a disc
I
➤ Insert the disc into the disc compartment (fig. 2 10 page 3).
✓ LOADING appears on the display while the device reads the files available on
the storage medium.
✓ ERROR appears on the display if the disc cannot be played or if an error has
occurred when trying to read it.
✓ The device reads the files on the data carrier and shows them on the display.
Ejecting a disc

➤ Press the button (fig. 2 1 page 3) on the device.
or
➤ Press the EJECT button (fig. 3 2 page 4) on the remote control.
✓ The disc is ejected from the disc compartment.
✓ If the disc is not removed from the device within 10 seconds, it is drawn back into
the disc compartment again automatically.
NOTE
• Make sure that the disc compartment is empty before you insert a
disc.
• The device immediately switches to the correct audio/video source
when you insert a disc.
• For discs which contain MP3 or other file formats, it can take a bit
longer than a minute to read.
• Certain discs (eg. CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW,
DVD+RW) cannot be played back, e.g. unfinalized rewritable discs
cannot be played back.
NOTE
• You can eject a disc once the device has been switched off.
• The device automatically switches to the previous input source once
the disc is ejected.
