9.4 Connecting external audio and video sources
Connecting the device
➤ Open the cover and inset the 3.5 mm stereo jack plug on the connection cable
of your audio/video device into the AV socket (fig. 2 6, page 3).
✓ The device reads the files on the audio/video device and shows them on the
display.
9.5 Play back media
Selecting the media as audio/video source
➤ Select the audio/video source, see chapter “Selecting the audio/video source”
on page 29.
Starting playback
➤ Press the button to start playback.
Pausing playback
➤ Press the button during the playback.
✓ This pauses the playback. The PAUSEmessage appears on the display.
➤ Press the button again to continue the playback.
Stopping playback
➤ Press the button once to stop the playback.
✓ This stops the playback. The point most recently played is stored.
➤ Press the button to continue playing from the most recent point.
➤ Press the button twice to end the playback.
✓ This stops the playback.
➤ Press the button to start again. DVDs start playing on the main page, CDs and
VCDs start with the first track.
