Parking the Lift Truck
Park the lift truck on level ground, lowering the forks and
tilting the mast forward until the fork tips touch the floor.
Block the drive wheels when parking on an incline.
1. Park in an authorized area only. Do not block traffic
2. Place the transmission controls in NEUTRAL.
3. Engage the parking brake.
4. Lower the forks to the ground.
WARNING
Blocking the wheels will prevent unexpected lift
truck movement, which could cause personal injury.
5. Turn the key in the ignition switch to the OFF position
and remove the key.
6. Actuate each loading lever several times to remove
the residual pressure in the respective cylinders and
hoses.
7. Block the drive wheels if parking on an incline.
