Fault Message 1003 - Controller Hardware Fault
Description Controller will not function.
Possible
Causes
A problem has occurred with the controller hardware.
Remedial
Action
Return the controller to the Markem.Imaje service centre.
Fault Message 1004 - Printhead Detect Failure
Description The printer can not detect the printhead.
Possible
Causes
The printhead cable is loose.
The printhead cable is damaged
The printhead is damaged.
Remedial
Action
Remove the cassette, check printhead and printhead cable
for damage.
Try a different printhead.
Try a different printhead cable.
Fault Message 1005 - Software Fault
Description A system fault has occurred.
Possible
Causes
The software has experienced an error condition.
Remedial
Action
Re-power the SmartDate 5
